At AGORA we like to revisit our completed projects to find out how our clients are getting on with their new spaces. It’s important to find out if there is anything that hasn’t worked quite as we hoped, but also lovely to hear when things are working well!
Recently we were invited back to one of our early projects in Musselburgh, where the ground floor of a detached house was remodelled to create a more family-friendly layout. The previously cramped kitchen has been transformed into a spacious room for cooking and dining. To maximise space, we designed built-in furniture such as a window seat with storage below in the kitchen area, and built-in shelving and seating to the dining area. New bi-fold doors connect the kitchen to the garden with a raised terrace providing an outdoor social space.
The owners are enjoying life in their renovated home and commented that it perfectly suits their lifestyle. It’s great to hear such positive feedback and we hope the house continues to work for them!
